I envisioned a vision.
It's no Les Mis but a fitting title it certainly is. Today, I caved and made my first ever vision board. Stealing the idea from 2 Broke Girls (which you should definitely check out - my absolute favourite new American show and perfect to plug my Big Bang Theory shaped gap), I found myself eagerly researching the concept of vision boards and quickly became obsessed with making one of my own.
The point of a vision board, I've gathered, is to help pinpoint what it is you really want to achieve and in it being visually available every day, something of a prompt to ensure you achieve as much as possible. In short, it's a pretty way to keep you focused on what you want to do in the next year/month/whatever time span you want. As a self-confessed magazine hoarder, finding material to cut and stick and tear and rip wasn't much of an issue but figuring out what I really wanted to gain from it turned out to be a whole other problem.
And as can be seen from the finished product, apparently I want a lot.
Only time will tell whether the whole vision board concept works but I will say that making it perfectly fills a lazy Sunday afternoon.
