London itself is one of my favourite places in the world. I don't live massively far away from the city but far enough away that I only get to go and spend the day there on infrequent occasions. I haven't been in the evening for ages and it looked even prettier because it was decorated for Christmas!

As for Les Mis, I could probably write an entire article on the show itself but I'll save you from the boredom! All you need to know is that I felt utterly inspired when I left and that no matter who is cast, I always fancy the Enjolras! The staging was sublime, the set was fantastically built and the vocals were just incredible. A must-watch for any musical theatre fan and the most perfect Boxing Day to date.

 

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a typical girly girl so I'm usually pretty hesitant to buy new skirts/dresses. I have two stable LBDs that I wear all the time and the oh-so common tight black skirt from H&M that almost every girl has somewhere in their wardrobe. But when I saw this little beauty on Missguided I couldn't help but buy it.

I adore the pastel palette that's in fashion this summer and thanks to my name, green is usually top of my choices. I love the material and how floaty it is when you wear it, though I am planning on wearing some of my dance hotpants on underneath for this very reason!

Like I said, I'm not overly girly so I'm planning to potentially pair it with a black lace leo and black heels when I go out on Saturday night. I love the length of the skater skirt in general because it hides the larger parts of my legs which I don't really like and it isn't so tight that it clings to my thighs. I do feel this outfit does give me a slightly shorter body than I actually have so I might change my top half but I love the shoe/skirt combo a lot.

I think I'll definitely be wearing this skirt a lot during these summer months! Anyone else liking the pastels this season?
