Plenty of Parentheses
For those who don't know, I'm a bit of a Made In Chelsea fan so when I saw the lovely Caggie Dunlop starring in a music video for Lonsdale Boys club (check it out!) it was too good an opportunity not to blog about it.

Thanks to this blog dedicated to Cags, I've chosen my favourite looks from the video and other events so that we can all dress like Dunlop. Yay.

Vest top - Forever 21//£3.75
Shorts - Forever 21//£16.75
The shorts are a little bit on the steep side at £16.75 and the colour doesn't quite match the ones in the picture but I love the acid wash effect on this pair. And with the white vest top standing a mere £3.75 it means this look can be recreated for close to £20 - bargain!

Leather Jacket - Topshop//£65
Blouse - Asos//£20
Shorts - Asos//£12

This leather jacket again isn't an exact replica but it's black and studded - perfect. Both the top and shorts are from ASOS and the shorts are even in the sale, down from an original £28.00 to just over 10. A simple outfit that's perfect for summer.

Light green jumper - Asos//£10
Triangle jumper - Urban Outfitters//£60
.
The top jumper is a cheeky £10 from Asos and whilst the other jumper isn't that much like Caggie's (and is a whopping £60) I liked the design too much not to show it.

Lace corset - Forever 21//£8.90

For this final look, I found a cheap and cheerful white lace corset for under £10 and if you don't fancy it in white, you've got two other colours to choose from.

So there we have it - my little take on how to dress like Dunlop.
Fangirl. Definition loosely describes me. But thanks to my fangirling (which I strongly believe should be a viable career choice) and to Caggie Dunlop, I have stumbled across the brilliance that is Bastille.

The first track I heard was Icarus and I instantly fell in love with it. The vocals are wondrous, especially if you're into bands that are a little bit different and a little bit indie. When we're in an age that sometimes feels like it is overwhelmed with American pop acts and boisterous boy bands, unearthing a band like Bastille becomes such a perfect little find. I'm definitely going to be on the look out for more from them in the future.

Now who said fangirling was freaky? Thanks to Caggie's interview for TeenBook, I have a new artist on repeat to get me through my gruelling uni assignments and even more music to add to my all-time squidgy ears playlist. All in all, I call that a success.
