How to care for curly hair: My new hair care heroes
Hair. Where do I even begin?! I'm 22 years of age and it's still an on-going battle! I'm hopeful however that I may have found a bit of heaven in a bottle, metaphorically speaking. I'm naturally a curly girl (as the pictures below demonstrate in full ringlet glory) but I like the versatility of being able to have straight or curly hair. I'd never want to do away with my curls completely but that's not to say they're not hard work either. So I'm always on the look out for new products to try in order to find a happy medium!
Have a little TBTu (Throwback Tuesday) so you can see the kinda frizz I've been dealing with. (And check out the ears! Just one reason why my blog is called Oversized Facial Features!)![]() |
1. Nourishing Oil Elixir | 2. Intensive Masque Conditioner | 3. Polishing Serum |
What I love most about these products is that a little goes a long way! I always press the pump twice for both the Oil Elixir and the Polishing Serum (cheeky!) because my hair is naturally quite thick and far more prone to frizz. But even then, I'm hardly making a dent in the bottle which is ace. I've used the Oil Elixir on my hair when it's been both straight and curly, and it's definitely already becoming a firm hair care favourite. I've been using a variety of Frizz Ease products for the last three or four years, always trying out new ones if I have a few pennies to spare. I haven't found the perfect product combination yet but I think I'm getting close!
Any one else a fan of John Freida's Frizz Ease collection? Or just generally have any curly hair care tricks?!
