The sound of my summer (aka Jade blogs about Bastille. Again.)
I know I bang on and blog on about Bastille a lot but I really can't help it. I adore everything about them and re-watching their set at Glasto reminded me why - as if I needed a reminder. Bastille have come such a long way since I first heard about them well over a year ago; they even have a pretty huge following on Tumblr now and that's when you know you've made it.
If you haven't seen their set, check it out on iPlayer here but I'm sure it's all over Youtube so you have no excuse not to find it. (I'm kidding.) Listening to Bastille is perfect for lazy garden days, chilled out BBQs and something to slip on the ipod when you're browsing town on a warm weekend. Are you sold yet?
I love how completely British the band are but more importantly, how refreshingly normal. Every interview I watch makes me smile and it's like they all expect that their success is somehow just going to stop (it's not.) If having the crowd sing back their every lyric isn't proof enough, well I don't know what is - Bastille, I think you're here to stay. Yay.
